Daisy Lowe says ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ has cured her stage fright.
The 27-year-old model has always dreamed of becoming a theatre actress but her fear of performing in front of hundreds of people stopped her.
The star – who is partnered with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec in the BBC competition – says the dancing show has helped her overcome her anxiety on stage and said: "Strictly has been such a gift. It is so much more than I thought it was going to be.
"I’ve always loved acting but never thought I could do theatre because I got the worst stage fright ever."
And the older she gets, the less she cares about what people think and wants to have "a good time" above all.
She added: "The older I get, the younger I feel. I care less about what other people think and just want to do what makes me happy. Having a good time is much more important than not, you know."
Meanwhile, it was recentlty reported that Daisy split from boyfriend Bradley ‘Frankie’ Wade due to their hectic schedules and the raven-haired beauty also admitted it’s difficult to have a relationship in the public eye.
She told the new issue of Hello! magazine: "I’m just a 27-year-old lady trying to figure out what I do and don’t want in a relationship so that I don’t make the same mistakes again.
"For anyone who isn’t in the public eye, that would seem normal, but because I get photographed going on one date with someone, then suddenly he is my boyfriend.
