Daisy Lowe has been kicked off ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 27-year-old model found herself in the dreaded dance-off for the third time in the BBC dance competition, and was sent home after she failed to compete against Greg Rutherford with her 1960s inspired salsa.
Only Bruno Tonioli opted to save the leggy model, with the other three judges – Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell – instead favouring the 29-year-old Olympian’s paso doble.
Speaking about her departure, the brunette beauty said: "I’ve loved every minute. Everyone here is so unbelievable you have no idea. The make-up, costume, production, cameras, everyone. The judges, thank you so much for everything, I’ve loved every moment.
And Daisy couldn’t leave the competition without thanking her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec, dubbing him as her "hero".
She added: "Hang on, hang on. And this one! My hero. Thank you for everything."
The 26-year-old dancer had nothing but nice things to say about his partner too, calling her "unforgettable".
He said: "You’ve been the most joyous in rehearsals, on the weekends. You’ve taught me so much, you’re a beautiful person inside and out. You’re a beautiful dancer, and thank you for making this ‘Strictly…’ unforgettable for me."
The news of Daisy’s boot from the show comes after she recently revealed the strain of the show caused her split from former boyfriend Frankie Wade as she couldn’t make time for him.
Meanwhile, Greg – along with his professional partner Natalie Lowe – and the remaining six couples have made it to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom, where they will perform live next Saturday (19.11.16)
