Daisy Lowe joins Strictly Come Dancing

Daisy Lowe has joined this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 27-year-old fashion model – the daughter of Pearl Lowe and Bush singer Gavin Rossdale – has become the third female celebrity confirmed for the forthcoming series of the popular Ballroom and Latin show and she can’t wait to get stuck in to the challenge.
She said: "I’m looking forward to learning a new skill. My family and friends and I adore ‘Strictly…’ so when the chance came up to take part I jumped at it."
And, although she has plenty of experience when it comes to strutting her stuff down the catwalk, the brunette beauty is worried about having so many eyes on her when she has to show off her booty shakes and hip snakes.
She explained: "I am used to being on the catwalk and campaigns of major fashion brands with lots of eyes on me but this is completely different from anything I have ever done before … I would love to make it into the final. My Grandma has watched every episode for the past 14 years and I know that if I get kicked out, she won’t watch it."
Meanwhile, Daisy may be filled with tonnes of confidence ahead of the new series next month but she’ll certainly have some stiff competition as Will Young, former ‘Hollyoaks’ hunk Danny Mac, Ed Balls, Louise Redknapp and Laura Whitmore are also determined to put up a strong fight in order to lift the famous Glitterball trophy.
