Daisy Lowe ‘heartbroken’ by Strictly Come Dancing boot

Daisy Lowe is "pretty heartbroken" she won’t get to perform at the iconic Blackpool Tower in North West England on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ next week.
The 27-year-old model was given the boot from the ballroom and latin competition in Sunday (13.11.16) night’s show and is devastated she managed to survive eight rounds of the series, but fell at the last hurdle and now can’t join her fellow contestants for the special at the famous tourist attraction in Lancashire next weekend.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on his BBC Radio 1 ‘Breakfast Show’ on Monday (14.11.16), she said: "I’m pretty heartbroken but I’m really proud of myself because I actually managed to survive eight weeks of it. I loved every minute of it and I’m never going to stop dancing. It created the most mental adventure of my whole entire life."
However, although she’s gutted she was eliminated from the show after losing the dance-off against Greg Rutherford, the brunette beauty is so proud of how far she’s come in the show as she’s battled with debilitating stage fright for years.
She explained: "I had the worst stage fright. I always end up so shaky. Even to give someone an award, I end up shaking so much. So, actually to try and figure that out and get out there and do a dance is amazing to me. I’ve never done anything like that before. I’ve never done live telly before so it’s a really cool experience."
But Daisy’s time on the show hasn’t been completely stress-free as she split from her boyfriend Frankie Wade recently as she was too exhausted with the show for love.
She said over the weekend: "At the beginning, which is supposed to be the most joyful honeymoon period, I had nothing to give him.
"We could have coped with the pressure if we had been together for ages and had known all of the ins and outs of each other.
"But we had just met and suddenly it was like, ‘Who is this really tired person?’ I didn’t really know who this really tired person was either. I’m never usually this exhausted every single day.
"Frankie deserves more than that and so do I. I deserve to take care of myself. Now when I get home, I have a bath and take myself to bed."
