Crystal Hefner has been "trying to find" herself following the death of her husband Hugh Hefner.
The 33-year-old beauty was married to the Playboy founder for five years until his death in 2017 at the age of 91, and has said she’s been trying to find her own way in the world following Hugh’s passing, but is finding it "scary" on her own.
She said: "It’s been a whirlwind. It’s been trying to find myself. I became someone else’s identity for 10 years. I’m finding my own identify and place in the world. It’s scary."
Crystal has been travelling to various countries in the wake of Hugh’s death, as she claims she wasn’t allowed to see the world whilst married to the businessman.
She added: "I’ve been doing a lot of traveling and seeing the world. I didn’t do much of that living at the house. Hef and I were just homebodies. He didn’t like me traveling. I guess I’m making up for lost time."
The beauty is now the vice president of Hugh’s foundation, and heaped praise on her late spouse, saying he always "respected" those around him, and taught her how to "be kind to everyone".
Speaking to Us Weekly magazine, she said: "He had no secrets. He had the same exact routine every single day. He loved animals, people, everybody. He treated everybody with respect, and I think that’s rare with someone of such a high position of power.
"I asked him all kinds of questions about business. I learned so much. Be kind to everyone, be nice to everyone. Have an open heart and be an open book."
Meanwhile, Crystal previously opened up on married life with Hugh, as she said sex "wasn’t all that important" to their relationship, and they instead enjoyed "movie nights and backgammon".
Asked if the pair regularly got intimate between the sheets, she said: "You know, in that point in time in his life that wasn’t, you know, all that important to him."
