The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge is so impressed with the former ‘Hollyoaks’ actor’s performances on BBC One ballroom and latin show, he thinks he could be a professional and would love to work with him in one of the stage productions he choreographs.
He said: "Danny is such an amazing dancer, I’m definitely keen to sign him up for a role in one of my shows one day.
"He’s the perfect package after all, talented, an all rounder on the dancefloor, a gorgeous face and can we talk about his fantastic body and those rippling as?
"Danny is in the prime of his life, so why not flaunt it, darlings?"
However, the choreographer insists it isn’t a certainty that Danny and his partner Oti Mabuse will win this year’s competition.
Writing for his column for Woman magazine, he said: "That being said, I don’t think its a foregone conclusion that he’ll win the series.
"In fact, I’m really glad the audience get their say in the final and our votes don’t count because it’s becoming so hard to mark the celebs apart now – they’re all so good.
"It’s only right the public crown their own champion."
And regardless of who does scoop the glitter ball trophy, Craig thinks the final will be unmissable because the standard is so high.
He added: "This series has flown by because the standard has been so high.
"I can’t wait to see the show dances in the final – they are sure to be absolutely spectacular."
One celebrity will miss out on a spot in the final after the semis this weekend, and Craig thinks it could be gymnast Claudia Fragapane who exits the floor.
He said: "Our pocket rocket has done really well but I fear her time could be running out.
"She really needs her personality to shine now because the public haven’t really got to know her like the other celebs."
