Craig Revel Horwood has written a cookbook.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ judge spent six years with his late grandmother Phyllis – who affectionately referred to as Phonse – compiling the meals and writing down the ingredients for the recipes that are unique to his family.
And now Craig, 53, is getting to release the tome so the recipes can be enjoyed by other families.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said: "I did an interview with her six years ago getting all her secret recipes, because she was an amazing cook – she cooked for kings."
Phyllis lived in Perth, Australia, and was one of Craig’s relatives who appeared in his episode of BBC family tree show ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ but she recently passed away at the age of 101.
Craig admits his grandmother played a big part in his life and he wants to release the book in her honour.
He said: "She was 99 at the time (we did ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’) and she got the letter from the Queen. She was really delighted and she told stories of her past. She just died. She wasn’t frail and she was an incredibly sparked up 101-year-old and she had a wonderful life.
"I was able to share that in Who Do You Think You Are? and now I am going to see if I can get all of the footage and I have put loads of that in the book."
