Craig David has songs ready for Cheryl

Craig David has written a "couple of songs" that are perfect for Cheryl.
The ‘Born To Do It’ hitmaker met the former Girls Aloud singer backstage at ‘The X Factor’ live final last year and they discussed the possibility of working together if they could align their packed diaries.
Craig, 35, has some tracks ready for 32-year-old Cheryl – who is dating Liam Payne – and he can’t wait to play them to her to find out if she wants to record them.
Speaking at the Ivor Novello Awards in London on Thursday (19.05.16), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I have written some new songs in the studio and there are a couple of songs that I think would be fantastic for Cheryl and if she likes them and thinks they are right for her then great. But they are definitely garage-tinged records and depends on what vision she has got her album. But if she wants to go garage then come to the source!"
Craig has been enjoying a career resurgence in recent months with his singles ‘When the Bassline Drops’ with Big Narstie and ‘Nothing Like This’ with Blonde and he is about to release ‘One More Time’.
And Craig is getting ready to bring out his sixth studio album Following My Intuition – his first new LP since 2010 – and admits his new music has been a "long time coming".
He said: "There have been a lot songs I’ve been writing and I just needed to find that moment and that groove. The stars aligned and things just felt right. It has been a long time coming but it’s here now!"
