Craig Ball and Jasmine Elcock into BGT final

Craig Ball and Jasmine Elcock have progressed to the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final.
The 24-year-old impressionist wowed the judges in Thursday night’s (26.05.16) live semi-final with his performance of Adele’s hit ‘Hello’ while putting on the voices of several classic characters, including Shrek, Mickey Mouse, Elmo, Miss Piggy, Kermit and Family Guy’s Stewie and Peter Griffin.
Following his performance, judge Amanda Holden said: "It feels like it’s one of those things that could go viral, it was very modern and very fresh. My favourites were Elmo and Miss Piggy."
Simon Cowell said: "Oh my god, Craig, I loved every second of that. It is original and funny and different."
"We always look for somebody to do something we have never seen before."
Singer Jasmine, 14 – who was Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer act – made it through to the final via a judges vote over dog act Trip Hazard and Lucy.
Simon – who is known to be a big fan of pooch performances – had the deciding vote.
Jasmine sang ‘Wings’ by Birdy, and Simon praised her "incredible control".
He said: "Jasmine I really, really like you. You’re not one of these powerhouse singers, what you have got is this incredible delicate control."
But he joked: "The bad part is their [Ant and Dec’s] smug little faces. I mean, it’s really annoying."
The ‘BGT’ final will take place on Saturday (28.05.16) with 100 Voices of Gospel, Mel and Jamie, Wayne Woodward, Alex Magala, Richard Jones, Boogie Storm, Beau Dermott and Balance Unity all set to do battle with Craig and Jasmine.
Magician Richard is currently the 5/4 favourite to win the series with bookmaker William Hill.
Beau is 9/4 second favourite, while outsiders include Boogie Storm (33/1) and Mel and Jamie (100/1).
