Courteney Cox has reportedly turned to hypnotherapy in a bid to rebuild her relationship with ex-fiancé Johnny McDaid.
The 39-year-old Snow Patrol star called off his engagement to the former ‘Friends’ actress last year, but Courteney has apparently turned to hypnotherapy to overcome her fear of leaving her house, which initially led to their separation.
A source said: "Johnny pretty much walked out because Courteney’s agoraphobia was driving him crazy.
"She never left the house and the rare occasion she couldn’t avoid it was an epic nightmare coaxing her out the door."
The pair were recently spotted together in London, and it is reported their relationship is on the road to recovery.
The insider told Radar: "Courteney was the first to admit it was a problem, but she decided to finally do something about it when she lost her man.
"Courteney was able to prove to Johnny she’d changed by getting out and about with Jen [Aniston], going shopping and even attending a fundraiser.
"Johnny never stayed out of touch with Courteney, and since she’s got her issues under control, they’re now on the fast track to getting their relationship back to how it was."
