Coronation Street’s David Platt to stab Josh Tucker?

Coronation Street’s David Platt is set to stab Josh Tucker.
The ‘Corrie’ character – played by Jack P. Shepherd – looks set to attack his evil rapist, portrayed by Ryan Clayton, during a prison riot.
According to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column, David calls his fiancée Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) to tell her Josh has been attacked and may not make it, but doesn’t provide a response when she asks him if he was the aggressor.
This comes after Ryan confirmed in July he had signed a new deal with ITV – but didn’t reveal in what capacity.
Sharing a shot of a contract on Twitter, the soap star simply tagged ITV in his tweet alongside emojis of a green tick and a pencil and paper.
Ryan was last seen on ‘Corrie’ in October when David drove Josh, who was left blind after being attacked, down a quiet road and pretended he was outside a police station as he grabbed onto the villain.
Confused Josh reacted with panic that his life would be over if he was forced to confess to rape, giving David the closure he needed on the horrific ordeal.
Ryan and Jack worked with Survivors Manchester – a charity supporting men who have been the victims of sexual abuse – on the hard-hitting plot, and Ryan thanked the organisation for their help with the storyline.
He wrote: "And of course more importantly than me being a soppy t**t, for anyone affected by this storyline please don’t suffer in silence – when you’re ready http://www.survivorsmanchester.org.uk/ thanks for the support @SurvivorsMcr @mrmadrigal (sic)"
Survivors Manchester tweeted: "We’re so proud of you @RClayton92 and thank you for everything."
Following his cobbles departure, he tweeted: "That’s all folks for Josh Tucker. What an honour @itvcorrie . Feeling so grateful & blessed – From being apart of this storyline/ working with such talented & sound people/ All the kind words & support from loved ones & complete strangers. It’s meant the world to me (sic)"
