Conor Maynard has joined Tinder.
The 23-year-old singer – who split from model Victoria Tansey last summer after two years of dating – is looking for love on the popular dating app and reportedly signed up some time ago, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.
And Conor has even reassured users of the app that his profile is genuine and he isn’t simply "catfishing", a process where someone makes a fictitious persona to lure someone into a relationship.
Along with his age and past school details, the ‘Can’t Say No’ singer’s biography on his verified Tinder profile reads: "Conor Maynard, singer… no I’m not a catfish."
Conor isn’t the only famous face to use Tinder.
Hilary Duff – who has four-year-old son Luca with ex-husband Mike Comrie – previously scored a date using the app, but admitted the experience was nerve-wracking.
She has said: "I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that could happen?
"I have my first date tonight and I’m really, really nervous. We’re going bowling, so it can’t be too expensive. I like that. I’ve never dated just a total normie."
Lily Allen, Katy Perry, Halle Berry and Ed Sheeran have also reportedly had profiled on the app.
