Connor Calland has teased a major change of dynamics on ‘Hollyoaks’.
The actor’s alter ego Jordan Price has been seemingly calling the shots in the County Lines drugs gang, but the introduction of Victor (Benjamin O’Mahoney) as his boss will shake things up in the village.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "The dynamics will change greatly. Ben, who’s coming in as Victor, is a phenomenal actor.
"A lot of people have labelled me as the bad guy, which I am. But if you think I’m bad, there’s another thing coming.
"Victor brings an element of unpredictability and aggression that maybe Jordan lacks as much as him. I think Jordan brings those elements to the show, but when Victor comes in, he brings a lot more and turns it up another notch."
Viewers have already seen Jordan recruiting Sid Sumner (Billy Price) and Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) to help with his drug jobs.
However, things could change in the future as Connor revealed his own character is under similar pressure to please Victor.
He explained: "The way you see Sid and Juliet with Jordan, is going to be how you’ll see Jordan with Victor.
"It’s going to be a very interesting dynamic, because where that does leave Sid and Juliet? Who knows?"
Viewers have also seen Jordan trying to bring in Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) as another helper, but Connor – who admitted his alter ego is "conflicted" between sympathy for Charlie and his plans for a "successful business" – refused to reveal any further details.
He teased: "I can’t tell you my long-term plans for Charlie because it’s a secret! Charlie is involved with plans down the line, as we’ve seen in the flashforward episode."
