Colton Haynes: I’m learning to be more positive

Colton Haynes is "learning to be more positive" following his split from Jeff Leatham.
The 30-year-old actor split with the celebrity florist almost three months ago, just six months after they tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony in October last year, and he has now admitted he’s learning how to deal with change, and have a happier outlook in the process.
He said: "I’m learning right now. I’m going through something and I’m learning to be more positive and learning that the basic thing is people change. People can become super positive. I have to accept that because I’m a little negative. But if you’re happy, you’re happy."
The former ‘Teen Wolf’ star admitted he’s "going through some s**t right now", but isn’t afraid to get "candid" about how he’s feeling.
Speaking on Anna Faris’ ‘Unqualified’ podcast, he added: "I’m not trying to get emotional but I’m going through some s**t right now. I’m very candid so I say what I feel and that’s life. We’ve been doing this for like an hour and I’m sorry."
But Anna dismissed his apology, stating: "Our dude listeners cherish it because we all go through the same f***ing s**t."
Colton made the decision to file documentation to terminate his marriage to Jeff in May, and although he is yet to give a reason for their split, he did shut down rumours that his spouse had been unfaithful to him.
He wrote on Twitter: "Jeff would never cheat. He is an amazing man. Please stop being mean to him."
The ‘San Andreas’ actor tragically lost his mother earlier this year, and sources claim the sudden loss put his marriage in "turmoil", which prompted him to call it quits.
An insider said: "Friends say Colton has been struggling greatly with grief since this loss of his mother earlier this year, however Jeff and Colton have remained in touch off and on since their split. Colton’s mother’s surprising death put the couple’s marriage in turmoil just months after the marriage, leading to Colton to end things."
