Coleen Nolan wants to ‘go back in time’ to avoid Kim Woodburn spat

Coleen Nolan wishes she could "go back in time" to avoid her "upsetting and unpleasant" reunion with Kim Woodburn.
The pair clashed live on ‘Loose Women’ this week when the ‘How Clean is Your House?’ presenter appeared on the show for what fans thought was going to see them make-up after they fell out following their 2017 ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ appearance.
But Kim, 76, ended up calling Coleen "lying trash" and a "piece of filth" before storming off the set after a heated row – and the 53-year-old TV presenter has admitted she didn’t want to take part in the reunion in the first place.
Coleen said: "Anyone that knows me knows I’m not a bully.
"That would be the most hurtful thing people could call me.
"I didn’t want to do the reunion. It was the producers who said she wanted to make peace. I agreed because I was happy to draw a line under past differences.
"From the moment she arrived, it was clear Kim didn’t want to make up. Now I wish I could go back in time and not do it. It was ugly, upsetting and unpleasant for everyone."
Kim admitted afterwards she was particularly upset about Coleen and her sister Linda Nolan’s antics on the show, including the singer "mocking" her while she was talking about her "very sad" and "brutal" childhood.
But Coleen insists she didn’t know what Kim was saying, and was merely commenting about her "ranting".
She added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I hadn’t heard what she was saying. I was commenting on how she was ranting, not what she was saying about her childhood.
"But it’s also unrelated to the way she abused me for eight minutes and then tells the world I attacked her."
Coleen insists she will not appear alongside Kim on the show ever again, but "wishes [her] well".
Following the fracas, Kim called for Coleen and Linda to be fired from ‘Loose Women’, and more than 5,700 people have signed a petition backing Coleen’s sacking.
Kim said afterwards: "I was ambushed, it was disgusting. It was like a circus and I was there for some cruel entertainment. I want Coleen and her sister fired.
"They could have stopped that show. The one who had the ear mic could have stopped it. But they did nothing to curb it.
"I was shown cruelty again by that woman. I’m embarrassed once again. And I’ve cried on TV once again.
"I do go at people if they go for me. I hope I never live to see the day when a human being in her 50s and her sister could mock a lady sobbing on TV.
"They should not be on that show. And I will do all I can to get them off it."
What’s more, Ofcom received more than 3,000 complaints following the pair’s on-air spat.
