Coleen Nolan has ruled out appearing on this year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
Despite speculation the 53-year-old star could be taking her ‘Loose Women’ panellist opinions Down Under, the singer is adamant she won’t be gracing the Australian jungle with her presence.
A message on her official Twitter account read: "Hello tweeties – we can confirm that our Coleen is definitely NOT going into the #imacelebrity jungle this year …. she’s looking forward to watching it from the safety of her sofa tho #DontBelieveTheRumours (sic)"
The presenter is no stranger to reality TV after appearing on ‘Celebrity Fit Club’ and ‘Dancing on Ice’, but she doesn’t look set to add the jungle to her list.
ITV have confirmed the programme will return at 9pm on Sunday November 18th, and this year’s edition of the reality show – which features several celebrities who live together in a jungle environment without luxuries – will be hosted by Declan Donnelly and newcomer Holly Willoughby.
Holly is replacing usual presenter Ant McPartlin who is currently taking time out from his career after he recently spent time in rehab and was fined £86,000 for drink-driving.
Aside from Coleen, Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler, The Chase’s Mark Labbett and former ‘Coronation Street’ actor Shayne Ward have all been tipped to take part.
While audiences are excited, there are growing fears the launch could be in jeopardy because forecasters in New South Wales region of Australia have warned that downpours and thunderstorms are likely – which will have a huge impact on the celebrity contestants’ ability to set up camp.
A source recently said: "The place has been through a drought for the past few months and everyone has been praying for some rain."
"Now it’s set to come right at the start of ‘I’m a Celebrity’."
