Coleen Nolan confirms first ever solo tour

Coleen Nolan has announced her first ever solo tour.
The 53-year-old singer returned to the O2 Apollo in Manchester, UK on Monday (03.09.18) to confirm the exciting news, and it came almost a decade after she reunited with sisters Anne, Bernie, Coleen, Linda and Maureen for a comeback run on the road.
Revealing her big plans, Coleen told her fellow ‘Loose Women’ panellists: "Well, it’s 10 years since I was last at the Apollo and I’m back to announce that for the first time ever, I’m about to embark on my first ever solo tour."
The run will kick off at the iconic Manchester venue on January 11, and come to an end on February 28 at the Winder Gardens in Blackpool.
Opening up on the ITV daytime show, the star admitted she is "so nervous" about stepping out on stage for the solo shows.
However, she explained: "Obviously I’ll have a live band, a couple of backing singer, so yeah obviously there will be people on stage with me.
"But it’s still so new to me – but I want to make it as good a night as it was in 2009 with the Nolans reunion. It will be songs that everyone knows, hopefully up dancing on their feet – just a positive night out."
Her life has changed a lot since she was last on stage in 2009, after splitting from husband Ray Fensome, and the death of her sister Bernie five years ago.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said: "My whole life has changed in so many ways since that tour, because I dont have Bernie and I don’t have Ray.
"I’m starting a new chapter in my life as a single woman. If Bernie was alive, it wouldn’t have ever crossed my mind to do it on my own. We would probably do another Nolans tour.
"But to do it again would have felt weird without Bernie, it would’ve made me really sad. She was The Nolans for me. Bernie was the singer, really."
