Coleen Nolan claims that a dead Reggie Kray was obsessed with Alfie Moon

Coleen Nolan has bizarrely claimed that Reggie Kray was obsessed with her ex-husband Shane Richie’s ‘EastEnders’ character Alfie Moon – even though the notorious gangster died two years before he joined the show.
During her appearance on ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (11.04.17), the former Nolans singer told her fellow panellists that the 60s East End organised crime boss was a fan of Shane’s cheeky chappy alter ego in the BBC One soap and tried to get in contact with him.
During the conversation about real crime being used for entertainment purposes, Coleen also claimed that Reggie – who ruled London’s underworld with his twin brother Ronnie – sent two drawings to the former couple’s sons Shane Jr. and Jake.
However, it seems that 52-year-old Coleen is confused as Reggie died on 1 October 2000 at the age of 66 and Alfie didn’t arrive in Walford until 21 November 2002.
During the chat, Coleen said: "Reggie Kray, when Shane was playing Alfie Moon in ‘EastEnders’, he loved that character – he used to try and get in touch with Shane and all of that to speak to him.
"He sent me two drawings for Shane [junior] and Jake – he drew two pictures for them. People have asked me if I still have them as they’d be worth a fortune but I ripped them up."
Coleen couldn’t have got Reggie mixed up with Ronnie as he passed away on 17 March 1995 at the age of 61 when he had a heart attack at the Prison Hospital at Broadmoor Hospital, the high-security unit where he was being held for his crimes.
The ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ winner also claimed she once had lunch with the Kray Twins’ older brother Charlie Kray.
She said: "I once had lunch with Charlie Kray, he was with a beautiful woman and he was very enigmatic. I was invited to have lunch with him again the next week but I didn’t go and I never saw him again, I didn’t feel comfortable with it."
