Clive Russell joins Dracula cast

Clive Russell has joined the cast of ‘Dracula’.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ actor will star in the upcoming BBC series along with Catherine Schell, Jonathan Aris, Sacha Dhawan, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Youssef Kerkour.
The three-part series – which will be made up of a trio of feature-length episodes – is based on Bram Stoker’s iconic novel, with Claes Bang playing the titular vampire.
And Mark Gatiss – who has co-written the upcoming series alongside his ‘Sherlock’ collaborator Steven Moffat – is delighted that filming for the show, which began earlier this year at Orava Castle in Slovakia, has moved to England where it continues at the famous Bray Studios, the ex-home of Hammer Film Productions, which made the 1958 horror flick ‘Dracula’.
Mark said: "It’s seriously delightful that our new Dracula is being shot at Bray Studios – the former home of Hammer Films.
"This wonderfully atmospheric and legendary studio gave birth to so many famous monsters and stars – most memorably Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
"As we watch Transylvania once again rise on the sound stages of Bray, it’s amazing to be able to say that Count Dracula has finally come home."
Mark and Steven will also act as executive producers alongside Sue Vertue, Ben Irving and Larry Tanz on the show, which will also star John Heffernan, Joanna Scanlan, Dolly Wells and Morfydd Clark.
The series will premiere on BBC One in the UK and on Netflix outside of the UK and Ireland.
