Claudia Winkleman quits Film 2016

Claudia Winkleman has quit ‘Film 2016’.
The 44-year-old TV presenter – who has three children with husband Kris Thykier – took over the show from Jonathan Ross in 2010 but has decided to leave in order to focus on her family and ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
A source told The Sun: "Claudia has decided it’s time to focus her energy on her three young kids and her ‘Strictly’ job.
"She is really keen to spend more time with Matilda, Jake and Arthur but the stress of juggling two jobs has made this increasingly difficult.
"On top of this, her ‘Strictly commitments’ are getting more demanding and she is keen to make it her main commitment."
Claudia explained that she left because she felt she wasn’t giving the show as much attention as it deserved.
She said: "I’m sad about leaving and it wasn’t an easy decision. The show simply deserves someone who can give it their all."
Claudia currently co-hosts ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ with Tess Daly and the BBC dance show is returning for a 14th series tonight (03.09.16).
And Claudia is thrilled with the new line-up of contestants.
She said: "We couldn’t believe it. I think it’s brilliant. Ed Balls made me scream! I was hoping, and they went ‘and finally… Ed Balls!’
"They are all brilliant. Now we’ve spent a day with them, I’m in love with Tameka Empson … Daisy Lowe I have physically mounted. They are all amazing."
