Christopher Maloney has been evicted from ‘Celebrity Big Brother’.
The former ‘X Factor’ contestant is the latest star to be voted off the reality TV show following in the footsteps of Megan McKenna, Kristina Rihanoff, Nancy Dell’Olio and Winston McKenzie.
However, he is the eighth contestant to leave the house after Jonathan Cheban quit and Angie Bowie and David Gest left due to illness.
Christopher was greeted with cheers from the crowd and told host Emma Willis: "That was a whirlwind, it was crazy."
When asked why he thought he was voted out, he said: "I’m not sure, I don’t know what the public have seen… I am so glad to be out of there."
Admitting he was originally nervous about entering the house when he realised his former friend Danniella Westbrook was also a contestant, he said: "I was s***ting myself and then she said ‘we’ll have a word’. I’m glad we sorted it out. It was other people stirring s**t.
"We are both there for each other, the highs and lows, the ups and downs.
"She’s going through an emotional rollercoaster; she’s getting a little bit upset. I’ve been there for her. She is a great girl. Good luck to her."
