Christina Grimmie was laid to rest in New Jersey on Thursday (16.06.16).
The ‘Voice’ star was giving an "intimate" send off in front of family and friends after she was tragically shot dead whilst signing autographs after a gig in Orlando, Florida earlier this month.
Of the funeral, a source said: "It was an intimate gathering for her family and close friends."
A public memorial will be held on Friday (17.06.16) at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel in Medford, New Jersey for fans wishing to pay their respects to the late singer, who was just 22-years-old when she passed. A service will follow the event, starting at 8pm.
Meanwhile, Christina’s brother Marcus previously revealed Adam Levine, who was Christina’s coach on the talent show, offered to pay for the funeral.
He wrote on Facebook: "I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away."
Adam and his wife Behati Prinsloo posted a heartfelt message to pay his respects to the late singer at the time of her death.
He said: "Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s tragic death.
"Our hearts go out to her family. Christina was a natural, a gifted talent that comes along so rarely. She was taken from us too soon. This is yet another senseless act of extreme violence. I am left stunned and confused how these things can conceivably continue to happen in our world."
Christina was tragically killed by Kevin James Loibl from St. Petersburg, Florida, who police believe travelled to the gig with the intention of killing the 22-year-old singer.
