Christina Aguilera to work with Sabrina Carpenter’s producers

Christina Aguilera is said to want to “channel” the “magic” Sabrina Carpenter created by working with the ‘Espresso’ hitmaker’s producers.

The ‘Fighter’ hitmaker, 43, has been working on her first English language album since 2018’s ‘Liberation’, and now it’s been claimed she has been inspired by the 25-year-old pop star’s genre-hopping pop hits.

An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Christina is ready to return to the mainstream and wants to make an album which feels like the ultimate girls’ night out.

“She is scheduling time to go back into the studio with Claude Kelly, who worked with her on her 2010 record Bionic.

Christina has also been tapping up producers who have worked with Sabrina Carpenter to try to channel some of that magic.”

‘Espresso’ was produced by Julian Bunetta [One Direction, Fifth Harmony].

The late-90s, early noughties superstar felt compelled to pen new tunes after being inspired by her Las Vegas residency show.

The ‘Beautiful’ singer – who recently left RCA Records after 26 years and subsequently inked a deal with the Miami-based Latin label 5020 Records – launched her spectacular concert series at the Voltaire at The Venetian in Sin City at the end of last year, and it fuelled her creativity for new music.

She told Vegas Magazine: “[We are] drawing inspiration from a variety of sources: the lights of Vegas, the glitz of Voltaire, my music, fashion, Burlesque, creative Parisian nods and more.

“I’m always trying to push my artistic boundaries and do things I’ve never done before to always offer something new and fresh, giving the audience a one-of-a-kind experience.”

The ‘Genie In A Bottle’ hitmaker has been experimenting with new sounds.

She said: “It’s great to be on stage because this new show in Vegas is really fuelling my creativity.

“I’ve been working on experimenting with new sounds and writing. A lot has happened over the past six years—huge personal and professional changes, growth and new inspirations, so I’m so excited to share all of it in the next album!”
