Chrissy Teigen is finding pregnancy harder the second time around.
The 32-year-old model is currently carrying her second child, a son, with her husband John Legend – with whom she already has two-year-old daughter Luna – and has admitted that whilst she believed her second pregnancy would be easier as she knows what to expect, already having a little one to care for is making the situation twice as tiring.
She told E! News: "You realise your second pregnancy is harder because you have a kid already."
Whilst 39-year-old John added: "You have to divide your energy between raising a kid and and carrying one as well."
But the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ star did note that John "helps as well", meaning the stresses of motherhood are alleviated slightly.
However, Chrissy may find that her days of exhaustion are only just beginning, as ‘All of Me’ hitmaker John recently expressed his concerns about Luna, saying he wasn’t sure she is ready to become a big sister.
He said: "Luna’s gonna be an issue. I think she’ll probably have some growing pains because she’s currently running the house right now. She’s used to being the centre of everything right now so we’ll see how she adjusts to sharing the spotlight."
The ‘Good Night’ singer and his spouse have been reading tips on how to make sure Luna doesn’t feel jealous of her younger brother, including buying a gift from the baby to "give" to his older sister.
John added: "I’ve [also] heard that I should bring Luna to him so it doesn’t feel like we’re all just sitting there with this new guy, like, ‘Who this?’"
Chrissy and John – who married in 2013 – announced the impending arrival of their second child in November last year, with an Instagram post which featured Luna pointing at her mother’s belly and saying "Baby! Baby!"
