Chris Pratt’s son knows his dad is an actor, after he met a "real" raptor trainer.
The 38-year-old actor plays dinosaur wrangler and raptor expert Owen Grady in 2015’s ‘Jurassic World’ and it’s upcoming sequel ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’, but it seems his five-year-old son Jack isn’t impressed with the leading role, as after a visit to Universal Studios where he met another actor at the Raptor Encounter section of the park, he believes he’s met the real deal.
Chris posted a picture of his son and a friend next to the "real" trainer on his Instagram account, and wrote: "Gotta love it. Jack (seen here in blue Optimus Prime helmet) went to Universal Studios with his buddy the other day. He comes home and tells me he met the "real" raptor trainer. Big shout out to all the park performers out there keepin’ it real on a daily basis. Our kids’ smiles say it all. Keep up the good work. (sic)"
Jack – whose mother is Chris’ estranged wife Anna Farris – visited his dad on the set of the new movie, and Chris previously admitted the tot had struck up a friendship with Bryce Dallas Howard’s five-year-old daughter Beatrice Jean.
Chris said: "Jack’s in love. I asked him the other day, ‘If you could have pizza with any one of your friends, who would it be?’ And he was like, [dreamy voice], ‘Beatrice’. I had to text [Bryce] and tell her."
But despite his dad’s Hollywood status, Chris doesn’t think Jack cares about the glitz and glamour of having a A-list parents.
He added: "I don’t know how Beatrice feels, but Jack doesn’t really care that I’m an actor. But when I brought him on set and he was able to climb on top of an animatronic T. rex, he was like, ‘Okay, Dad … I’ll give in. This is pretty cool.’"
