Chris Eubank Jr. has been asked to go on ‘Love Island’, but he wouldn’t take part in the show until he has retired.
The 29-year-old professional boxer insists the ITV2 dating programme is "not something I really need to do", but admits he if he was approached about appearing on the series after he hangs up his gloves then he would consider it.
Quizzed on whether he has ever been asked to be on ‘Love Island’, he said: "People have asked me that. Would I ever do that? I think at this stage of my career it’s not something I really need to do.
"After I’ve retired maybe I will go on there. We’ll see."
The ‘Celebrity Gogglebox’ star – who is appearing on the show alongside his famous pro fighter father Chris Eubank – believes people only take part in ‘Love Island’ for "exposure", rather than "to find real love".
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, he added: "I see it as young and up-and-coming people looking to get their exposure. I don’t think they’re really going on the show thinking they’re going to find real love.
"They want to be on TV.
"I’ve had that exposure already, so I don’t really need to go on there."
If Chris had appeared on the current series of ‘Love Island’ then he wouldn’t be the only boxer on the island.
Tommy Fury, 20, is currently one of the Islanders, and, like Chris, he also has a famous relation. His brother Tyson Fury is also a pro boxer.
