Chris Brown’s custody visits can continue as normal.
The ‘Fine China’ hitmaker’s former lover Nia Guzman had claimed the singer was unfit to care for their 22-month-old daughter Royalty without strict supervision and had asked a court to appoint a monitor and reduce the amount of time the star was allowed to spend with the little girl.
However, on Tuesday (24.05.16), a judge denied the request and kept the existing arrangement for joint legal and physical custody – which sees Chris care for his daughter 12 days a month – of the youngster in place, TMZ reports.
It wasn’t discussed during the hearing, but Nia also wants to have her child support increased from $2,500 a month to a huge $16,000 a month.
The 27-year-old star previously blasted Nia after she alleged Royalty developed asthma because he smoked excessively around her.
In a now-deleted Instagram post from February, he wrote: "Absolutely untrue. I quit cigarettes on New Years. NO ONE smokes around my daughter.
"This is obviously a play to get some sort of increased income.
"I take care of my daughter and I would never ever put her in a position that will harm her."
Chris went on to slam the "slander" which surrounds him and the people who "use" him, insisting he is just trying to do his best for his little girl.
He continued: "I’m so sick and tired of negative people trying to use me and slander me.
"All this annoying bs, everybody knows what they do in this street.
"My daughter is my pride and joy and I will not be played because my lifestyle is different from other parties involved. This really has to stop.(sic)"
But the ‘Yeah 3x’ hitmaker concluded by insisting he has no plans to start a "back and forth" feud.
He added: "I won’t do the back and forth negative things so I’ll just say god bless whoever is struggling and need to use me to better their life even though I fulfill my duties as a father."
