Chloe Lewis apologises for bike ride snub

Chloe Lewis has apologised after she pulled out a charity bike ride at the last minute.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was forced to drop out of the mammoth challenge, which took place earlier this month in Kerala in memory of the late celebrity fitness guru Nicki Waterman, one day before she was set to jet off to India due to visa issues, but has now assured fans that she covered the cost of the journey out of her own pocket.
Taking to her Instagram account on Friday (24.03.17), she said: "I want to apologise for any confusion to the charity Brain Tumour Research. I would have loved to have gone to India to do the cycle with the team but unfortunately I didn’t get my visa in time. I have ensured I have paid all costs that I would have incurred going to India. Me and my family support lots of charities and I will be supporting this charity going forward."
However, it doesn’t look like Denise Van Outen – who took part in the challenge alongside Michelle Heaton and Kate Thornton – will forgive Chloe as she’s fuming that she only found out that she’d pulled out the day before they were supposed to leave.
After The Sun newspaper’s Dan Wootton took to Twitter to say that Chloe should be "embarrassed of herself for letting so many people down and costing a charity thousands", Denise responded by stating she agreed with everything he had said.
She wrote: "No apology to our team and no message of support. True story."
