Chloe-Jasmine Whichello’s parent ban her from marrying Stevi Ritchie

Chloe-Jasmine Whichello’s parents have banned her from marrying Stevi Ritchie until he has bought his own house.
The 25-year-old beauty has admitted her mum Denise and dad Garry forced her to cancel her nuptials, which were scheduled to take place this month, because they didn’t agree with the fact he didn’t have a property in his name.
Speaking to OK! magazine, she said: "We were going to get married my family didn’t agree with Stephen not having a house so that’s why we’re not getting married … My parents are very traditional and they believe nothing should be rushed in life. Last year they found out Stevi didn’t own his own house, and that was a real shock for them."
However, the 35-year-old singer is determined to do all he can to prove to Chloe’s parents that he’s serious about her.
Asked whether he was going to buy a house to fulfil her parents’ wishes, Stevi confessed: "I was refused one [a mortgage] because this business is so touch and go, but as soon as I get the approval I’ll be looking in Aylesbury [in Buckinghamshire] and Hertfordshire for a house for us."
Meanwhile, although they’re not allowed to officially tie the knot until their future is more stable, the couple have just had a romantic blessing on board a lavish yacht in Cyprus.
Stevi explained: "A blessing is the closest thing you can get to a wedding. It’s a pre-wedding celebration."
Chloe added: "It’s a promise that we’re going to get married. It will only put good vibes into our relationship."
The couple first began dating in 2014 after meeting during the live shows of ‘The X Factor’ and got engaged last year.
