Jon Clark won back Chloe Ferry after he promised her pie and mash.
The ‘Only Way is Essex’ star was dumped by the ‘Geordie Shore’ beauty earlier this month after she caught him texting another girl behind her back, but it seems the couple have now decided to give things another go after the hunk said he’d treat her to the traditional English grub and a night out at Essex’s hotspot, the Sugar Hut.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jon pleaded with Chloe on FaceTime after she spotted his text arranging a date with another girl.
"He said he was mortified and never intended to ever meet up with the girl that he text. He’s invited Chloe to Essex for their next date so he can make it up to her and he’s promised to take her to a pie and mash shop and Sugar Hut so they can learn more about each other."
And the 26-year-old hunk – who popped the question to fellow ‘Love Island’ co-star Hannah Elizabeth last year before they split – is determined to pull out all the stops to win back Chloe’s heart and is even planning a trip up to her native Newcastle to talk things over.
The insider explained: "He’s going to Newcastle to see Chloe too. She said she will get him a Newcastle Brown Ale and take him to her favourite club Tup Tup Palace."
The pair first sparked rumours they were dating after Chloe uploaded a photograph of them sitting in a nightclub together late last month.
She captioned the shot: "Date night with this sort @jbclark (sic)."
However, things came crashing down a few weeks ago when Jon accidentally sent Chloe, 21, a flirtatious text meant for another girl.
