Cheryl Baker scared off plastic surgery

Cheryl Baker has been put off ever having plastic surgery by Olivia Newton John and Leslie Ash’s cosmetic blunders.
The Bucks Fizz star has admitted to having Botox injections in the past but says she’ll never go down that route again to stay looking youthful after seeing the damage it’s caused to the ‘Grease’ star and ‘Men Behaving Badly’ actress.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the former ‘Eurovision Song Contest’ winner said: "I think plastic surgery makes people look exactly that, plastic, like a Barbie doll. I’m fortunate I’ve got my mum’s skin, I’m not a sun worshipper so for an old bird I don’t look too bad, skin wise.
"The worse thing is when people have their lips done. People like Olivia Newton John she doesn’t look like Olivia Newton John any more, she always had a little mouth and it just doesn’t look like her. And Leslie Ash, bless her, I know it’s better now but she still doesn’t look like Leslie Ash."
Cheryl, 26, is setting off on tour with her old Bucks Fizz bandmates Mike Nolan and Jay Aston and new member Bobby McVay, the group now known as Formerly Bucks Fizz.
The ‘Make Believe Tour’ takes sees the band play in 20 venues across the UK from September through to November and though they aren’t legally allowed to perform under the name Bucks Fizz, Cheryl is confident fans know it will be a full "Bucks Fizz" experience at their shows.
She said: "The words got out, everyone recognises the band now, they know our faces. Formerly of Bucks Fizz is a name, but what they get is a proper Bucks Fizz show.
"We do rip our skirts off, it’s not the same outfit, we change our outfit every time and we have several changes during the show. All the hits are there, we had a lot of hits, and plus, we do a big eighties tribute at the end which gives everyone up and dancing and it’s a joyous evening."
