Charlotte Dawson cannot stop crying when she looks at her baby scan pictures.
The 27-year-old star announced earlier this month she is expecting her first child, and the ‘Ex on the Beach’ star’s impending arrival is due on January 25th 2021, a week before what would’ve been the 90th birthday of her late dad Les Dawson, who died in 1993 aged 62.
She wrote on Instagram: "Baby DawsySarsy due January 25th a week before my dadas 90th birthday… been in tears crying looking at my scan pictures how can you love someone so much already it’s crazy!! (sic)"
Charlotte also admitted she cannot stop placing her hand on her baby bump when she poses for pictures nowadays.
She wrote: "I genuinely don’t have my hand off my little bump… it’s like my way of knowing my babas there!! (sic)"
Charlotte revealed earlier this month she and her partner, rugby league player Matthew Sarsfield, 28, are to welcome their first child together next year.
And the star said ‘Blankety Blank’ presenter Les – who died from a heart attack when Charlotte was just eight months old – would’ve been the "best grandfather".
She said: "We went for the first scan and my due date is actually the week before, but there’s every chance I could give birth on his birthday. What a tribute that would be!
"He would’ve been the best grandfather. It’s bittersweet because he would have been here, making everyone laugh."
Matthew admitted that the couple – who have been together for four years – can’t wait to welcome their child, which will have a double barrelled surname to include Dawson.
He said: "We’re both ready for this next chapter. We’ve got a house and we’ve been together for four years. It feels right."
