Charlotte Dawson thinks her late father’s spirit visited her last week.
The former ‘Ex on the Beach’ star had settled down to watch a documentary about her late parent and comedian Les Dawson – who died of a heart attack aged 62 in 1993 – but found she couldn’t get the channel to switch on and her lights stopped working, which made her think her beloved dad was there with her.
Writing in her column in Star magazine, she said: "Something really weird happened last week. There was a documentary on TV about my dad called ‘Les Dawson Forever’, but the channel wouldn’t work.
"The light started flickering – it felt like my dad was with me."
The 25-year-old reality star also revealed she had been the subject of cruel comments online, with people telling her that her dad would disapprove of her outrageous antics.
She said: "I feel sorry for Georgia Kousoulou being criticised about her nose job. She was obviously insecure – it’s nothing to do with anyone else.
"I’d love to have my double chin lifted, but it makes me who I am.
"I was trolled when I was on ‘Celebs Go Dating’. People said my dad wouldn’t be proud of me, but I know he would be so chuff off."
And Charlotte also opened up about her struggles with anxiety.
She said: "It was brave of Jesy Nelson to admit she almost had a breakdown before Little Mix’s latest tour.
"I have really bad anxiety, but no one would know as I’m good at hiding things."
