Charlie Sheen regrets not being more involved in his kids’ lives

Charlie Sheen regrets not being "more involved" in his children’s lives.
The ‘Two And A Half Men’ star – who has Cassandra, 31, with his ex-partner Paula Profit, daughters Sam, 12, and Lola, 11, with his former wife Denise Richards and seven-year-old twins Bob and Max with his ex-spouse Brooke Mueller – admits he has many regrets about his past life.
He said: "I regret not using a condom one or two times when this whole thing happened. I regret ruining ‘Two and a Half Men’. I regret not being more involved in my children’s lives growing up … But, we can only move forward from today, and they wouldn’t call it the past if it wasn’t."
And the 50-year-old actor – who revealed in November that he was diagnosed with HIV four years ago – says telling the world about his diagnosis was "like being released from prison".
He said: "It was like being released from prison … and we unearthed the stepping stones to a rubicon of change."
And Charlie has also admitted that he did not disclose his HIV status on two occasions but says he did it "for the right reasons" because everyone else he had told previous to that had "shaken him down".
He shared on The TODAY Show: "No one has been infected but there was two examples, but protection was always in place, and it was for the right reasons, because everyone that I had told up to that moment had shaken me down."
Meanwhile, the ‘Anger Management’ star previously claimed he has only ever had unprotected sex twice.
He said previously: "[It happened] a couple of times. Twice. And we would be having a different dialogue. I was always the guy that promoted it and said you’ve got to use condoms, this and that. I was too drunk or too bored one night and here we are."
