Catherine Tyldesley caught parking in disabled bay

Catherine Tyldesley has been caught parking in the disabled parking bay whilst at work on ‘Coronation Street’.

Actor Jack P. Shepherd – who plays David Platt in the ITV soap – caused a stir for his female co-star by posting a controversial photo of the actress’ car in a disabled parking spot.

The actress, who plays Eva Price, parked her Mercedes in the disabled parking bay, much to Jack’s dismay.

The 26-year-old troublemaker quickly posted a picture of the car on his Twitter account, accompanied by the caption: "In other news @cath_tyldesley’s car is in a disabled space at work. (sic)"

Catherine was quickly targeted by fellow Twitter users who weren’t afraid to tell the actress off for her parking mistake, with one person labelling her a "blue badge abuser".

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Cath is never off Twitter but after Jack posted the snap of her car in the disabled bay she stayed surprisingly quiet – possibly seething, we are told.

"It’s not something to be proud of if you park your car in a designated disabled area – even if it is in work. If Jack was up to his usual mischief then it looks to have worked. People are saying ‘watch this space’ as to what will happen next and whether there will be retaliation.

"At the end of the day you can’t park your car in a disabled spot. People are pretty sure Catherine’s car won’t be seen in one of those bays again."
