Caroline Flack knew she’d marry Andrew Brady after just two days.
The ‘Love Island’ presenter got engaged to the former ‘Apprentice’ contestant last month after just three months of dating and she doesn’t feel they rushed into anything because they had an "instant" connection.
She said: "It was pretty instant. I think it was the second day we met! It sounds really weird and at the time I thought, ‘No, don’t be silly brain. Go back in your shell’ but when I look back on it that feeling hasn’t changed."
The 38-year-old star isn’t interested in criticisms of her whirlwind romance because she’s fallen so deeply in love and her life is "really good".
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Life is really good. This time last year I was in a completely different position. It just goes to show, you never know what’s around the corner.
"I’ve always thought like that. I do this job because I live life a bit up and down and I’m never on a straight line.
"Now I’ve gone a bit more traditional – who would have thought it?
"You just get that instant thing with someone and when you’re not in love you forget what that feeling is like.
"As soon as you fall in love again, that beautiful feeling comes back and you go, ‘Uh-oh, here we are again!’ That little heart flutter".
Meanwhile, Caroline is currently gearing up for the return of ‘Love Island’ and suggested producers are going to be more focused on the romance between the contestants rather than their saucy antics.
She said: "A twitchy toe is just fine. I don’t think that’s what people tune back in for. If you want to see humping then there are channels for that.
"If you tune into ‘Love Island’ – you’re only going to see some duvet and toe action. You can’t fake being in love and that’s what people buy into."
