Carol Vorderman is not currently dating anyone, but she has "special friends".
The 59-year-old TV star has admitted she isn’t looking for love for the time being, but has plenty of pals to keep her company.
She told MailOnline: "I’m very happy, I have no complaints. I am not dating anyone, I have special friends. Special friends. Plural."
The former ‘Countdown’ star has been married twice – to her first husband Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986, and Patrick King from 1990 to 2000 – but she is determined to never walk down the aisle again.
She added: "I never want to get married again."
And Carol – who has kids Katie, 29, and Cameron, 23, with Patrick – is looking forward to having her home all to herself as her son Cameron is flying the nest, and she is feeling more "positive" about herself since the coronavirus lockdown.
Revealing what lockdown has taught her, she explained: "It’s heightened the things I don’t want to do. I know I don’t like travelling to London for work so I’m more or less not going to do it anymore.
"My resolution is I don’t need to do anything so I’m just not going to do them. I think "you’re a long time dead" and I live that I am more positive now. I have really missed being around gangs of people."
Carol previously admitted she had grown tired of people commenting on her figure.
She recently said: "One of the sad things is that people think I am only ever talking about the way I look, I just choose to pay no attention to it.
"I was a free school meals kid. I got to Cambridge from a comprehensive [school]. That just didn’t happen in the 70s.
"Now I do a lot of work with kids from a similar background to me. I have my online maths school, I sell I-don’t-know-how-many education books a year. But that never gets talked about. Instead it’s, ‘How big is her bottom?’ "
