‘Love Island’s Camilla Thurlow has cooled it off with her new man Craig Lawson as she admitted she still felt heartbroken over being dumped.
The bomb disposal expert split from her former flame Jonny Mitchell a few days ago after he decided he wanted to make a go of it with Tyla Carr and whilst she enjoyed some time with new boy Craig when the boys were packed off to another villa, now they are all back together, she realises the hurt is still there.
She admitted in the Beach Hut: "I don’t think I really realised until tonight that I still have the hurt hanging over my head."
And in a frank chat with Craig, Camilla revealed she was "scared" about embarking on a new relationship.
She admitted: "I just still feel a bit hurt about everything that’s happened. I thought I was fine and I realise I was fine when I didn’t have to think about it – it’s the hurt feeling that is still there. It just makes me really scared."
But Craig told her: "I’m nothing like him [Jonny]. I don’t want you to compare me to that."
And Camilla wants to get over her ex so she can "have a good friendship" with Jonny and Tyla.
She admitted in the Beach Hut: "I really need to [get over Jonny]. Because I don’t want it to affect anything that could happen between Craig and I and I don’t want to affect my ability to have a good friendship with Tyla and Jonny."
And Craig was equally feeling worried about his and Camilla’s relationship going forward.
He said: "For the first time in here I did think, ‘Does she wish she had coupled up with him again now?’ That was a horrible feeling to have. I don’t want to feel like that. I don’t want to feel like the person I’m putting myself out there for is having feelings for someone else, that’s not nice for anyone."
