Camilla Dallerup is desperate to be a judge on Strictly Come Dancing

Camilla Dallerup would jump at the chance of being a judge on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 43-year-old professional dancer appeared on the dance competition for four years, and although she called time on her time on the programme in 2008 – after she won the show with Tom Chambers – she would happily return as a critic on the panel in a "heartbeat" if she was asked.
When asked if she would make a comeback on the BBC One show, she said: "If they asked me back as a judge, I would do it in a heartbeat."
However, the blonde beauty has insisted she would not return to train celebrities and compete for the glitter ball trophy ever again because she found it "hard work physically and mentally".
She continued: "But I would not go back as a dancer – absolutely not. I love my life now as a writer, coach and a speaker and I love helping other people through their struggles.
"It was amazing and magical but also hard work physically and mentally. At one point in my life, I was doing too much."
And the star has admitted she needed some time out to concentrate on herself and her welfare as she found her busy schedule left her felling "weak" and susceptible to illnesses.
She explained: "My immune system was so weak – I’d pick up anything. now I realise it was because I never took enough time for self-care."
And Camilla is in full support of Shirley Ballas taking over from Len Goodman, 73, as the head judge on the upcoming season because she was previously trained by the 56-year-old ballroom dancer.
She told Star magazine: "I love Shirley, she’s fabulous. She coached me through my twenties and a very hard time in my career. She is tough, but she’s also wonderfully encouraging."
