Cameron Diaz on age shaming: I won’t accept it

Cameron Diaz won’t "accept" age shaming.
The ‘Sex Tape’ star insists she isn’t worried about trying to look 25 anymore and is embracing her golden years.
She said: "If I’m relying on everybody buying me as a 25-year-old, then I’m screwed. I’m not going to keep trying to keep up with an image of my 25-year-old self. If I try to keep that up then I’m just making it painful for myself.
"It’s up to me as an actress, as a human, as a woman, to say that’s not acceptable for me anymore, and you can’t demand that of me. I will go and do the things that speak to me, the things that are relevant to me now. Women, we can go and do that."
The 43-year-old actress is happy to age "gracefully" and thinks part of that is accepting that she can’t change some things.
She added to Sirius XM’s Radio Andy: "I can also accept that my panty-dancing days on film could be over. And I’m okay with that, personally, I’m okay with that.
"And I really think that’s what aging gracefully is about is being able to accept the fact that there are some things that are just not the same any longer, and so therefore, because you can’t change back the clocks and you can’t go back to where you used to be, you have to accept where you are and do the best that you can. I’m doing alright, but I’m not gonna go like, ‘Hey, y’all, I’m 25 years old still,’ you know?"
