Caitlyn Jenner is to compete in a women’s golf tournament.
The ‘I Am Cait’ star – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner prior to her gender transition surgery last year – has signed up to take part in the Women’s Pro-Am Golf ANA Inspiration competition at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California, on Wednesday (30.03.16).
A source at the country club told the New York Daily News newspaper: "She [Caitlyn] has a strong handicap and is obviously a natural born competitor. This event is a perfect way to make her announcement to the world that she is on the golf course as a woman and wants to be treated that way."
And the former Olympic decathlete, who has played golf for over 15 years, is no doubt looking forward to getting on the range and battling it out for a medal as she recently claimed her new breasts have made her better at the sport.
She said recently: "When people ask me about my new life as a woman, they always ask the same question about my golf game, ‘Are your breasts going to get in the way?’ The answer is no, my game is still really good. And to be honest, the breasts are really good for putting. I used to put a sock under my arm to help keep my arms straight, but now I don’t have to do that any more because I can hold my arms against my breasts, so it’s perfect."
