Caitlyn Jenner: The Kardashians ‘bash’ me

Caitlyn Jenner has accused the Kardashian family of "bashing" her.
The 68-year-old television personality – who was formerly known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender reassignment – has slammed her ex-wife Kris Jenner and her famous family, claiming that her step-children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian, have pushed her out of their lives.
She said: "They don’t want me in their lives, the bashed me pretty badly. It’s devastating when your kids do that. It really hurt."
Despite not getting on with the Kardashian side of the family – whose father Robert Kardashian split from Kris Jenner in 1991 and passed away in 2003 – Caitlyn insists she still has a good relationship with her own children, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
She added: "My children are my life."
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ stars and Caitlyn have been feuding ever since Caitlyn’s memoir ‘The Secrets of My Life’, which was released in April, seemingly hit out at 62-year-old Kris, which the Kardashian family deemed unfair.
Now, Caitlyn admits her relationship with Kris came to an end because it "just didn’t work", despite claiming the reality star was aware of her desire to be a woman when they began dating.
Speaking during a candid interview at Cambridge University to promote her book, Caitlyn said: "As far as Kris, when I met her I had to be honest. She was aware of it at the beginning, but she but some restrictions on it.
"I had my own little get aways where I could go be myself. She knew about it, but I just didn’t do anything around her.
"As far as us going our separate directions, it wasn’t about trans issues at all. It just didn’t work like it use to work."
However, Kris has previously claimed Caitlyn never told her about her "gender dysphoria" when they were dating, despite the confession leading to Caitlyn’s divorce from second wife Linda Thompson.
Speaking to her daughter Kim Kardashian West about a time when she asked her former husband about her relationship with Linda, Kris said: "She weaves this elaborate story about how she and Linda broke up. Cait could’ve told me the story that she writes about in the book, which is … Linda got so angry and nasty that Cait had to tell her about her gender dysphoria. Why wouldn’t you have just told me what happened with Linda so at least I could make my own decision if I wanted to get married to someone who really wanted to be a woman?"
