Bryce Dallas Howard wants to learn to twerk

Bryce Dallas Howard would love to learn to twerk.
The 35-year-old actress – who has children Theo, nine, and Beatrice, four, with husband Seth Gabel – wishes she was a "killer" hip-hop dancer and able to successfully pull off the raunchy moves.
She said: "I’d love to be a killer hip-hop dancer. I want to be able to twerk."
But twerking isn’t the only thing Bryce is keen to learn, as she also wishes she had a better memory for song lyrics and popular phrases.
She told Stylist magazine: "I’d like to be one of those people who can instantly remember lyrics. I can’t do lyrics or idioms.
"Recently, I tried to say to my husband the phrase ‘What am I, chopped liver?’ but I got it wrong. Instead, I said ‘What am I, mashed potato?’ "
Meanwhile, the ‘Pete’s Dragon’ actress – who married Seth in 2006 after first meeting him at New York university – has praised her spouse as her "everything".
She said: "He’s my everything. We’ve been together for over 15 years."
And the ‘Jurassic World’ star admitted she can "enjoy" her children more now they are older and don’t need her to attend their every need in the way she did when they were babies.
Asked if she prefers babies or animals, she said: "Now I’ve had mine I can enjoy them without having to think about changing their nappies or making sure they sleep. I go crazy over a cute one."
Bryce recently admitted her kids think she’s cool after seeing her play ranger Grace in ‘Pete’s Dragon.
Rather than thinking Elliott the Dragon – the best friend of young orphan Pete, played by Oakes Fegley – is a CGI creation, the actress’ children were convinced the mythical creature was real, earning her some major kudos at home.
She said: "I think the idea of there being a real boy whose best friend is a dragon, the film feels like a real world where a dragon exists. This film is very grounded, it’s very much of this world. It feels timeless, you don’t quite know when it’s set. But it’s a very grounded world but there’s a dragon and the dragon looks very real and fits into the world, so that is just wish fulfilment for me.
"When I got to ride on the back of Elliott, I was screaming, ‘I’m in my mid-30s and I’m riding on the back of a dragon!’ It was very exciting for me. I’ve got kids and their first thought when they first saw it was not, ‘Oh Eliot is a CGI character.’ They were like, ‘Oh my gosh, you worked with a dragon!’ And that’s the best feeling. It made me cooler than I usually am to the kids."
