Bryan Adams reveals how Elton John inspires him

Bryan Adams feels inspired by Sir Elton John’s charity work.
The Canadian singer has revealed that Sir Elton’s fight against AIDS has encouraged him to think more ambitiously about his own charitable endeavours, having started his philanthropic ventures by joining local environmental organisations.
He told Britain’s Hello! magazine: "I’m motivated because having a voice means you can instigate change for good.
"Elton John is an inspiration in that regard, his foundation raises millions and it’s humbling to see the progress they have made in terms of fighting AIDS."
Bryan currently lives in London and has revealed enjoys helping out projects in his local area.
He said: "My most recent focus has been close to home, with helping local schools with their music programmes and more recently developing the neglected outdoor spaces for students at an urban school near where I live."
The chart-topping singer insists, however, that he remains committed to broader political causes.
Bryan explained: "I lend my name to things that have to do with human rights and I stick up for injustices committed against others."
In addition to these causes, Bryan is also concerned about the future of the planet.
He shared: "My dream would be to see a massive environmental change in the world: more harnessing of sunlight, less dependency on fossil fuels and nuclear energy."
