Bruno Mars says Adele was a "diva" when they worked together.
The 31-year-old singer co-wrote the song ‘All I Ask’ on the pop superstar’s latest LP ’25’ and said the ‘Hello’ hitmaker had an "attitude" and didn’t hold back in speaking her mind if she didn’t like something.
Of their time in the studio, he said: "She walks into the studio she’s got all this attitude, she’s a diva, she’s like, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t like that…’"
However, as soon as they had warmed to one and other they soon came up with the genius song.
Speaking on New York radio station KTU 103.5 FM, Bruno added: "And then as soon as we uh hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling, and that’s where we got that song from."
The ’24K Magic’ hitmaker described one mind-blowing moment when Adele, 28, was recording vocals and compared it to the vibration dinosaurs caused in the movie ‘Jurassic Park’.
While praising the "superstar", he said:" There was a moment when she was singing in the booth and I’m not exaggerating at all and the water was vibrating … like you know that scene in ‘Jurassic Park’ … She’s got some pipes on her, and she’s just a superstar."
And despite Adele’s "diva attitude" Bruno is desperate to work with her again.
He said: "I don’t know what she’s waiting on man, I’m like come on Adele. like send an email, let me know!"
However, the R&B star will have a while to wait to get into the studio with the pop beauty as it was previously announced the singer would be taking a break from touring in order to spend more time with her family.
A source said: "Angelo is the number one priority for Adele. He is the most important thing in her life. She has brought him everywhere with her on tour but as he is starting school next year, he won’t be able to join her any more.
"Adele doesn’t want to miss a moment of Angelo growing up and it’s an easy decision for her to give up touring for him. Right now she is saying she won’t do another massive world tour like the current one for another 10 years."
