Broadchurch returning in February

‘Broadchurch’ season 3 will be aired in February.
The popular ITV drama will return with more gritty storylines being teased in a video teaser, which shows the eerie dark cliffs of West Bay on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
In the short video clip posted on the broadcaster’s Twitter page, it also teases: "HERE WE SUFFERED GRIEF AND PAIN HERE WE MEET TO PART AGAIN … THIS FEBRUARY (sic)"
The post is also captioned: "It’s Back. #Broadchurch. February (sic)"
David Tennant and Olivia Coleman are to reprise their roles as Detective Inspector Alec Hardy and Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller respectively following the conclusion of the second series of the ITV drama in February 2015.
And this time they will be investigating a sexual assault following the murder of Danny Latimer [Oskar McNamara].
Creator and writer Chris Chibnall said previously: "We’ve been overwhelmed that nine million people every week have continued to join us on the twists and turns of ‘Broadchurch’. This third chapter has been a glint in my eye for a long time and I’m thrilled to be writing these characters once again."
Following Joe Miller’s (Matthew Gravelle) arrest for the murder of Latimer at the end of the first series, the character was found not guilty following his trial in the series two finale and viewers will now find out whether he follows his wife Ellie’s advice to leave the Dorset town and never come back.
ITV’s director of drama Steve November and controller of drama Victoria Fea have commissioned the third series with Chibnall and Jane Featherstone set to return as executive producers.
November said: "Chris Chibnall knows exactly how to keep viewers guessing and I’m delighted that he is going to take the story onto the next stage."
Little else is known, except Arthur Darvill is to return as Reverend Paul Coates and former ‘Coronation Street’ star Julie Hesmondhalgh – who portrayed Hayley Cropper in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street between 1998 and 2014 – has been cast as Trish Winterman.
