Britney Spears’s new LP is called Glory

Britney Spears has announced her new album is called ‘Glory’ and will be released on August 26.
The 34-year-old pop beauty surprised her 12 million Instagram followers by confirming her first album in three years will be released at the end of the month.
Alongside a picture of the album artwork – which is a close up of the blonde beauty in a white lace top and choker – she wrote: "My new album & the beginning of a new era. Available 8/26 on@applemusic. Pre-order tonight at midnight ET and get #PrivateShow instantly (sic)."
It comes weeks after she released new single ‘Make Me’ featuring superstar rapper G-Eazy on July 15.
‘Make Me’ follows a saucy storyline with lyrics referring to a steamy sex session.
Britney sings: "No rules/From the butt of the car, let’s take it back to my room/Igniting the heat of the woman; let the sparks fuse/Blowing up to the ceiling, we’re burning bright/When we cross the line.
"I just want you to make me move like it ain’t a choice for you, like you got a job to do. "Just want you to raise my roof, something sensational. And make me … "
The mother of two – who has sons Jayden, nine, and Sean, 10, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline – has been working on the forthcoming album for two years and admitted the delay was down to prioritising her family before her music.
She previously said: "I’m gonna do [a new album] slowly but surely. There’s a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that. I’m gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it’s not my full priority right now."
Meanwhile, Britney has teased the new record is "not so poppy" like her previous work.
She explained: "It’s my baby.
"A little melodic, a little more not so poppy. It’s kind of chill. Very chill."
‘Glory’ is released on August 26 on Apple Music and fans will get an instant download of new song ‘Private Show’.
