Brigham Taylor wants Jennifer Lawrence for Jungle Book sequel

Brigham Taylor wants Jennifer Lawrence to star in the ‘Jungle Book’ sequel.
The movie’s producer – who is renowned for his work in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ – has admitted there were so many aspects of Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’ novels that couldn’t be included in the new film, a live action Disney movie also inspired by the studio’s 1967 classic animation, that a follow-up film had to be made.
Taylor is on board for the second movie and he has Lawrence and a host of other big name stars on his wish list to be involved.
Speaking exclusively to Bang Showbiz on a special green carpet at the European Premiere of the film – held at London’s BFI IMAX cinema – on Wednesday night (13.04.16), he said: "I think everyone here had so much fun on this movie that it would be an honour if there was more to tell and if we could be involved in it, yeah. I was really bowled over by Neel Sethi, he had so much to do in this film – he was the only cast member on the set during the photography so everything relied on him and he’d never acted a day in his life … it was a steady, long schedule and he was really up to the test. He has a long future ahead in film if he wants it – I’d like to work with him in the future … we’re hoping we can."
Discussing on what actors could join the cast to voice characters, he added: "Who would you like to see in the sequel? Tom Hardy, I know that’s what you were thinking I could see it in your eyes … Channing Tatum … sure – all good ideas. We’d like to continue to find more female voices in it – Jennifer Lawrence, people like that – they’d be fun to have in the jungle."
Brigham was joined on the green carpet by director Jon Favreau, and the film’s actors Sir Ben Kingsley (Bagheera) and Neel (Mowgli).
‘The Jungle Book’ also stars Bill Murray (Baloo), Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha), Scarlett Johansson (Kaa), Giancarlo Esposito (Akela) and Christopher Walken (King Louie).
