Brie Bella will "always love" John Cena.
The WWE superstar’s twin sister Nikki, 34, and her fellow wrestler fiance announced earlier this week that they were going their separate ways after six years together, but Brie has denied speculation she’s furious with the ‘Blockers’ star and insisted he will always be "family" to her.
Taking to social media, she described the rumours as "false", and explained on Instagram: "I’d never say this and I’ll always love @johncena like a brother.
"He’ll always be family. My heart is hurting for he and my sister. #Truth"
It was previously revealed ‘Total Divas’ star Nikki has been relying on Brie to keep her positive during the fallout from the public split.
A source told E! News: "Nikki has been really leaning on her family throughout this break up, especially Brie."
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed that Nikki is "heartbroken" about the end of her engagement.
The insider shared: "He’s an incredibly dedicated, driven, ambitious guy. And for the longest time he said he didn’t think he had room in his life for a spouse or kids. It seems like in the end that was still the truth … Now she’s heartbroken."
The pair announced their split in a statement released on Nikki’s social media account.
It read: "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."
The professional wrestling couple were just weeks away from tying the knot on May 5, after getting engaged during Wrestlemania 33 in April last year, the ‘Blockers’ actor shared his sadness with his social media followers.
On Instagram, he posted a graphic of ‘The Simpsons’ character Comic Book Guy with the "Worst Day Ever!" written alongside it.
