Brianne Delcourt is planning to marry Kevin Kilbane in September or October.
The ‘Dancing on Ice’ stars announced their engagement earlier this month after meeting on the show four months ago, and they have already set a date for an autumnal wedding.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Kevin said: "We are going to set a date for September or October."
The couple are planning to tie the knot in the 43-year-old former footballer’s hometown in Ireland, and are set to fly out next month to introduce the 39-year-old figure skater to his family and look for venues.
Brianne explained: "I have found the dress, and our heart is set on getting married in Ireland, it will be so beautiful, and it is special to Kevin."
Kevin added: "Over the next month we are going there to introduce Brianne to my family, and to look at venues."
The sports star popped the question in a restaurant after a waiter brought over a cake and a sparkling ring to the table.
Before dropping down to one knee, Kevin phoned his father-in-law to be to ask his permission.
He said: "I couldn’t tell you how the conversation went as I was so nervous. My heart was racing."
The pair met in October when they teamed up for the ice skating competition, but were eliminated from the ITV show earlier this month.
They were voted off by the judges, but the lovers admitted they had gained the ultimate prize – each other.
Kevin said: "I didn’t need to come on the show, it’s been an incredible run.
"We said if we make it to our birthdays we will be happy."
Asked if they will continue skating together, he replied: "Absolutely, Definitely. It’s fixed my posture in many ways.
Brianne added how it had been a "life-changing" experience meeting her partner on the show.
Despite their whirlwind romance, Brianne says she is "blessed" to have met her Prince.
She added: "We wake up every day and say how blessed we feel."
"I feel like I have known Kevin forever. I wish I had met him 20 years ago."
